Each room is designed uniquely to exude the heritage of Japanese architecture by displaying its own feature. There are two Hanare (detached rooms) with an open-air bath. Inevitably, you will find yourself lost in complete relaxation.
LIFESTYLE
Yagyu-No-Sho began life as a traditional Japanese restaurant in downtown Tokyo, and was moved to its present location on the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1970. The cuisine is authentic Kyoto-style kaiseki ryori, each dish a little piece of art. The chef has 50 years of experience, and his mastery is evident in creations that are both pleasing to the eye and exquisite on the palate.
The tranquility of being outdoors and the careful arrangement of the garden around the bath refresh the spirit, as the hot, soothing water makes your aches and pains waft away like the rising steam. The large Yagyu-kan hall also provides the perfect setting for business meetings and par ties. This room was originally used for practicing kendo as well as mai (Japanese artistic dancing). These traditional arts are still practiced in this hall.
